Luna Gel Premium No. 20, 50 ml

Premium Classic Nail Extension Gel is a polymer-based light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Does not cause a burning sensation under the lamp.
• It becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in warm temperatures.
• Thixotropic—becomes thinner when stirred with a brush during application.
• It can be reheated to make the gel thinner.
• It hardens at a thickness of 1 mm. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may flex slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• It doesn’t shrink and holds the arch well.
• It requires a Rubber Base as a base coat.
• The polymerization wavelength is 365–405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48 W.
• Permissible coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the margin / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full curing time: 120 seconds.

Application method:

CURE

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. Using a 220-grit file, gently file the top of the nail without applying too much pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: Take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the entire cuticle area and the nail grooves.
7. Use a primer if desired, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not necessary.
8. The LUNAmoon Rubber Base is best applied with a flat gel brush. Use a rubbing motion. Fill in all the nail grooves and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Remove the tacky layer.
10. Level the surface. If leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after smoothing. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file down 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent the material from peeling off. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, remove the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the nail with anything after curing, as this may cause the shine to fade.

CLASSIC NAIL EXTENSIONS

1. Removal
2. Trim the nail length to 1 mm and shape it into a round shape.

9. Remove the tacky layer.
10. Apply the nail tip to the free edge of the natural nail.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe away the tacky layer and any excess dust.
14. Apply another coat of LUNAmoon Rubber Base to the areas where you filed. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Smooth the gel, place the nail under the lamp, and press down at the 10–15-second mark. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, press down at the 20-second mark.
16. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying the gel polish.
18. Apply a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the nails with anything after curing, as this may cause the shine to fade.
