DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel — for ultra-strong nail repairs
Introducing the new DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel—a unique reinforcing gel that will become indispensable in a nail technician’s daily work and help them reliably repair specific areas of the nail that need attention.
DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel has a thick consistency due to the high fiber content in its formula, yet it self-levels well and works in a thin layer. It’s ideal for repairing cracks and chips, building up and strengthening the corners, and restoring the free edge.
The gel is extremely durable: thanks to the fibers in its composition, after polymerization, DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel creates a reliable and strong “reinforcing mesh” that effectively “stitches together” the area of the nail requiring repair. It firmly secures the damaged area, helps minimize the risk of re-breaking, and allows the damaged nail plate to grow out without new cracks forming.
DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel is ideal for:
• repairing cracks and chips;
• building up and strengthening the corners;
• restoring the free edge;
• localized strengthening in the ingrown area;
• strengthening the free edge without adding unnecessary volume;
• regrowing the damaged section of the nail with minimal risk of cracks reoccurring.
The material is both rigid and durable, has a dense, non-porous structure, and withstands mechanical stress well. When subjected to impact, DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel does not crack, making it particularly effective for repairing existing damage and helping to minimize the risk of re-breaking.
How does DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel differ from acrygel?
In a layer of the same thickness, DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel is several times stronger and denser than acrygel. Unlike acrygel, it does not have a porous structure, self-levels well, and provides reliable reinforcement even in a thin layer.
Acrygel applied in a thin layer at the corners can break or gradually wear away. DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel remains strong and rigid, allowing you to build up the corners, reinforce the ingrown area, and strengthen the free edge without creating excess volume.
ADVANTAGES:
• high concentration of reinforcing fibers in the formula;
• creates a strong “reinforcing mesh” after polymerization;
• effectively “stitches” together the damaged area of the nail;
• Extremely strong and dense;
• is both rigid and resistant to mechanical stress;
• has a non-porous structure;
• Self-levels well;
• applied in a thin layer;
• Does not create excess volume;
• suitable for repairing cracks and chips;
• is ideal for filling in and reinforcing corners;
• Suitable for restoring the free edge;
• allows for localized reinforcement of the ingrowth area and the free edge;
• minimizes the risk of cracks and breaks recurring;
• Helps regrow the damaged area of the nail;
• Requires minimal product usage.
Features
| Application Technique No. 1 | Standard nail plate preparation (filing, cleaning with DNKa’ Nail Prep and Cleanser 3-in-1). |
|---|---|
| Application Technique #2 | Apply DNKa’ Dehydrator to the entire nail plate—evaporation time: 30–60 seconds. |
| Application Technique #3 | Apply DNKa’ Ultrabond to the entire nail plate—evaporation time: 30–60 seconds (when repairing a crack in the nail bed area, avoid getting DNKa’ Ultrabond into the crack itself). |
| Application Technique No. 4 | Apply a thin, priming layer of the selected DNKa’ base coat, appropriate for the nail plate and base material (Multi Base/Fiber Base for gel systems, Rubber Base / Low Acid Base for gel polish/colored bases)—cure in a 48/36 W LED/UV lamp for 30–60 seconds. |
| Application Technique No. 5 | Apply a small amount of DNKa’ Fiber FIX Gel to the area requiring repair (do not apply to the entire nail plate). |
| Application Technique No. 6 | Cure in a 48/36 W LEDUV lamp for 60/90 seconds. |
| Application Technique #7 | After curing, if filing is necessary, remove the tacky surface with DNKa’ Nail Prep and Cleanser 3-in-1. |
| Application Technique No. 8 | Perform leveling/strengthening/shaping using the selected DNKa’ material |
